– Chair Deshundra Jefferson

"Community engagement is the cornerstone of thriving communities. It turns local challenges into opportunities, ensures that every voice is heard, and builds the foundation for sustainable growth and shared prosperity."
Meet Deshundra
Chair Deshundra Jefferson made history as the first person of color elected Chair At-Large of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors.
A single mom, Chair Jefferson is dedicated to ensuring that Prince William County is a place where residents can raise a family or chose to retire. That’s why lowering the cost of living, promoting attainable homeownership, investing in our public schools and our safety are her top priorities.

Our Community
Communities are built on connection – when neighbors know each other, support one another, and work together, we create a foundation of trust.
We thrive when we support one another. Whether it’s lending a hand during tough times, celebrating local successes, or working together to solve problems.
Find essential resources, stay up-to date on important local issues, and discover ways you can contribute to our county’s growth.
